My practice centres on expressing emotion and feeling through the creation of objects. I draw inspiration from a range of influences, including interior design, abstract painting, and other ceramic pieces, which I integrate to explore the connections between material things and the intangible realms of memory, experience, and the natural world. My work primarily focuses on the delicate medium of porcelain, which I shape and form using hand-building techniques that allow for a slow, intentional process. This meditative approach not only guides my creative practice but also imbues my pieces with a sense of tranquillity and introspection. Through my work, I seek to inspire peace and comfort in the viewer, inviting them into moments of stillness and a reconnection with their own emotional landscapes.
